FAQs

Soft Play® warrants that our playgrounds will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date the Play Unit installation is completed. Our sales representatives are available to discuss with you the details of our limited warranty.

Soft Play has a great relationship with Marlin Leasing Company and Navitas Lease Corporation. They can provide lease/finance options that works best for your business. Leasing is an effective solution as it:

  • Offers competitive rates
  • Requires less upfront capital
  • Preserves banking credit lines

Once a unit is designed and quoted, Soft Play can assist with the connection and application to the leasing company. Ask your Sales Representative for more information when your project is ready or feel free to fill out an application in financing.

If you have all of the basic items above before you call us that will expedite the process. Two weeks or less is our usual turnaround time for an initial design and quote. If you have a large or complex project that requires theme development, it may take a bit longer.

At Soft Play, all of our equipment is built and designed to meet ASTM safety standards in the US. Some countries utilize different standards. A representative is happy to help if you have questions about a specific Soft Play component in your country.

The cost of an indoor commercial playground is challenging to estimate without knowing the project’s scope. The cost ultimately depends on the playground’s size and features. Soft Play offers financing options to help you build the playground you want.

We’re dedicated to creating high-quality products for our customers. Just as we oversee every other aspect of your playground project, we control the manufacturing process ourselves. Soft Play operates a manufacturing facility in Monett, Missouri, to ensure you get high-quality, American-made products. Our production plant has even achieved certification for its environmental management system.

On average, indoor playgrounds last between eight and 15 years. Our playground products and components are constructed of high-quality materials, which helps extend their life span. How long our products last depends on numerous factors, including the level of maintenance and frequency of use. Soft Play equipment will last for years to come if properly cleaned, inspected, and maintained. Do what you can to protect and take care of your equipment for long-lasting fun.

We understand unexpected issues arise, which is why Soft Play offers a one-year limited warranty on workmanship and material defects. Speak with our representatives for more information regarding your warranty.

The owner’s manual for your Soft Play equipment contains cleaning instructions and recommended cleaning chemicals, as some products require different cleaning procedures. Many playground surfaces can be cleaned with water and mild soap. Only use brushes on durable surfaces to prevent scratches. Keep up with spot cleaning as necessary, and be sure to sanitize or disinfect your equipment regularly. Using the proper materials on our play equipment helps keep them in optimal condition for longer.

Our products and equipment are easy to clean, and we even have antimicrobial play elements available upon request.

Needing to replace certain playground parts is common as natural wear and tear occurs. If you need a replacement, check out our selection of commonly replaced parts to see if it’s something we have readily available. If you don’t see the part you need, we can also help identify the specific part needed if you call or email our customer service team with pictures and descriptions. We’ll do what we can to replace missing or damaged parts, though it’s best to consult your warranty.

The length of projects varies depending on the size, design elements desired, and any customization. There are many aspects of starting an indoor playground — market research, design and planning, obtaining business licenses, installation — and some projects naturally take longer than others, depending on what’s needed. Similar to cost estimates, knowing the project’s scope lets us provide a more accurate time estimate for a given project.

Contact us with specifics regarding your vision for the project so we can determine an accurate project timeline.

Yes! We pride ourselves on seeing your playground wishes through from design to installation. We ensure our professional playground installers are trained and certified, so you don’t have to hire an external service. With more than 250,000 completed playground installations, our installation team has the training and experience to ensure proper equipment installation.

Our installation services are beneficial because you can feel peace of mind knowing our team has been with your project since day one and knows the specifics of the design.

While we don’t offer maintenance services, we provide various maintenance-related resources to give you the necessary information to maintain your playground. Playground maintenance is crucial to the quality and long-term success of your equipment. We highly recommend creating and sticking to a maintenance schedule based on the needs outlined in your owner’s manual.

In terms of annual inspections and repairs, we recommend looking for service providers in your area. While there are many things you can do on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to keep your equipment in optimal condition, it’s best to trust a professional when it comes to overall inspections and repairs.

Accommodating multiple age ranges in your playground design encourages various kids to play in the same space with different opportunities. One of the best ways to do this is to design your playground to include different types of play. For example, including areas dedicated to imaginative play, social play, physical play, and more provides play opportunities for kids of different ages.

Another way to accommodate multiple age ranges is to include playground components various age groups can play on. For example, our adventure play equipment attracts kids of all ages, encouraging entire families to participate in the fun. If you need help deciding how to accommodate multiple age ranges in your design, consult with our design team. We can tailor our products and play components to different age groups to meet your needs.

In addition to our pre-designed play components, our design team lets you create custom play creations unique to your business and brand. For example, one of our frequently customized products is our playable foam sculptures. They’re engaging for all ages, extremely durable and easy to maintain. All of our playground components and products can be tailored to fit your project.
