Hershey Lodge, an official resort of Hersheypark, has always catered to its guests’ desires for fun, offering VIP tickets to the amusement park, “Sweet Start” early admission and first access to cabanas at the waterpark. So, when guests asked for more water fun and fitness activities, their wish was granted with a new Reese’s Water Walk.

“We take guest feedback very seriously,” says General Manager Jason Heath. “We knew that we needed to provide an elevated fitness and indoor pool experience for our guests to enjoy with their families year-round.”

On May 26, 2016, guests got their first look at the new Hershey’s Water Works at Hershey Lodge, which includes something for every guest, such as the Twizzler Twists Water Slides and the Reese’s Water Walk.

“The feedback from our guests has been tremendous,” says Heath. “We are hearing wonderful comments about the pool complex, the fitness center, the arcade and our food and beverage offering. We have a very loyal following of guests that return year after year and they are amazed at the transformation. Watching the expressions on our returning guests’ faces as they enter Hershey’s Water Works has been very rewarding.”

Soft Play created the Reese’s Water Walk for the new water complex. Soft Play’s turnkey water walk systems engage kids of all ages and are finished with UV- and chlorine-stable, abrasion-resistant, HydroTuff™ coatings.

“Reese’s Water Walk is definitely one of our most popular attractions at Hershey’s Water Works at Hershey Lodge,” says Heath. “It’s fun to watch guests of all ages enjoying themselves as they try their luck attempting to cross the peanut butter cup pads to the other side of the pool.”

With one-of-a-kind slides and play elements, Water Works at Hershey Lodge really is a one-of-a-kind water play experience.

“Any hotel can offer an indoor water complex, but only we can offer Hershey’s Water Works at Hershey Lodge,” says Heath.

The opening of the water complex was big news for nearby media outlets. Check them out below:
